Scope of service
All services, including stove installation, servicing, and chimney sweeping, are provided by Premier Stoves & Fireplaces in accordance with industry
Quotations
Quotations are valid for 30 days from the date issued unless otherwise stated.
Payment terms
We require a 50% deposit with payment due in full upon completion of the work, unless a prior written agreement has been made. We accept cash, card, or bank transfer.
Late payment
We kindly ask that all invoices are settled promptly to help us continue providing a reliable service to all our customers. Payment is due on completion of the work unless otherwise agreed in writing.
For commercial customers, overdue invoices may be subject to interest at a rate of 8% above the Bank of England base rate, in line with UK legislation, along with any reasonable costs incurred in recovering the debt.
For private customers, we understand that occasional delays can happen. If payment has not been received within 14 days of the invoice date, we may apply interest at a rate of 3% above the Bank of England base rate, calculated from the due date until payment is made in full.
If you are experiencing any difficulty making payment, we encourage you to contact us as soon as possible, our aim is always to resolve matters fairly and amicably. We reserve the right to suspend further work or services until outstanding balances are cleared.
House preparation
Customers are responsible for preparing the property for the service, including clearing furniture, carpets, or obstacles around the stove or chimney area. Failure to prepare the house may incur additional charges or delay the service.
Access to property
Customers must provide safe access to the work area. Any delays caused by restricted access may result in rescheduling fees.
Restocking Charges
Any ordered items that are cancelled or returned at the request of the customer may be subject to a restocking fee, in addition to any supplier charges.
Cancellations & Rescheduling
Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance. Late cancellations may incur a fee. We reserve the right to reschedule appointments due to unforeseen circumstances, including extreme weather or staff availability.
Warranties & guarantees
Any warranties provided are in accordance with manufacturer specifications. Service work carried out by Premier Stoves & fireplaces LTD is guaranteed for a period of 30 days unless otherwise stated.
Liability
While all reasonable care is taken to protect your property, Premier stoves & fireplaces LTD is not liable for indirect or consequential damages. Liability is limited to the cost of the service provided.
Health & Safety
All services will be carried out in compliance with current health and safety regulations. Customers must inform the team of any hazards or health considerations on the premises.
Force Majeure
Premier stoves & fireplaces LTD is not liable for delays or failure to complete work due to circumstances beyond our control, including extreme weather, supply chain delays, or emergencies.
Service Limitations
Our services are limited to what is explicitly quoted. Additional work requested on-site may incur extra charges, which must be agreed before proceeding.
Customer Responsiblity
Customers must provide accurate information regarding the property, stove type, or chimney condition. Misrepresentation may affect the safety or success of the work.
Unforeseeable price increases
In the event of unforeseen increases in material or product costs (e.g., stoves, flues, or accessories) after a quotation has been provided, the customer will be notified promptly, and the revised price must be agreed before work commences.
Insurance
Premier stoves & fireplace LTS is fully insured for public and professional liability. Customers are encouraged to ensure that their property insurance covers any temporary service works.
Governing Law
These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Wales and the United Kingdom. Any disputes will be resolved under UK law.
